Chromebooks are commonly issued to students through their home school district. If you are using a district-issued Chromebook device then you will need to be sure to log in to your Chromebook with your Launch Google Account (ID#@sps.org).

Launch Google Account Information

Your Launch Google Account information will be located under the Google Account Information portion of your enrollment e-mail (received after registration).

Your password will be the same default password as Canvas and will be different depending on what grade level you fall into. Please see the default formats below based on your current grade level.

Grades 3-12 Password
For the password, make sure you following this format:
Lower case initials, 8-digit date of birth, followed by an exclamation point.

Elementary (K-2) Password
For the password, make sure you following this format:
Lower case initials followed by the student ID number.

Adding a New User to Your Chromebook

  • If you are already logged in to your Chromebook, click on the button in the lower right corner (the one that shows the time, battery life, etc.).

  • Click on Sign out at the top of the pop-up window.

  • This will take you back to the sign-in screen. At the bottom left of the screen, click on the button labeled Add Person.

  • Sign in using your Launch Google Account (ID#@sps.org).
