Guide for Teachers (World Geography)
TeachTCI
TCI from Teacher's Curriculum Institute is utilized in this course. As the online teacher for this course, there are a few steps you will need to take to prepare the TCI resources for the students.
Note - If you are teaching a TCI course for middle school social studies then you will not need to assign any assignments. View the directions below if you are a high school World Geography instructor for instructions on setting up your assignments.

All TCI links are already in your Canvas course; you only need to set up the TCI side.
Adding Assignments
Log in to Canvas (www.springfieldpublicschools.instructure.com)
Navigate to your Canvas course
...
Choose TCI Login from the navigation panel
Your matching courses are combined into one period inside TCI. In this example, three (3) separate courses from Canvas are rolled into one Period ## course in TCI.The Period number may change depending on the term.
Choose Assignments next to your course.
Click the Create New button at the top of the Assignments page.
...
Select the Lesson dropdown.
...
Select and assign each of the following assignments to your section with an applicable due date:
4 - The Great Lakes: The U.S. and Canada's Freshwater Treasures
9 - Spatial Inequality in Mexico City: From Cardboard to Castles
14 - Supranational Cooperation in the European Union
19 - The Nile River: A Journey from Source to Mouth
27 - Waiting for the Rains: The Effects of Monsoons in South Asia
32 - The Global Sneaker: From Asia to Everywhere
