Downloading as PDF and Submitting

Sometimes the Google Slides or other Google Drive files may be grayed out for you to select. An alternative submission method is to download your file as a PDF file and submit the PDF to Canvas.

Open the slides, doc, drawing, or other various file you are trying to submit. Click File [1], then go down to the option to Download [2]. Select the option PDF [3].

Once you have the file downloaded you can use the File Upload option on Canvas to submit the assignment. You can also upload the PDF file to your Google Drive and submit the file via a shareable link or using the Google Drive tab.
