You are able to add a school appropriate profile picture of yourself to Canvas. Adding your profile picture is important in order to show students and teachers know who they are talking to.
Click on the circle icon under the Launch A icon.
A menu will appear, click the Settings link.

Click the pencil in the circle area to upload or take a picture.

A new box will appear and allow you to upload or take a picture.
Once you are satisfied with your picture, click Save in the bottom right corner.
