Adding a Profile Picture

You are able to add a school appropriate profile picture of yourself to Canvas. Adding your profile picture is important in order to show students and teachers who they are talking to.

Log in to Canvas.
Click your profile picture icon and select “Settings.”

Click on the profile picture near the top center of the screen (a pencil icon will appear in the corner of the picture when hovering over it).

You can upload a picture from your computer by clicking the “choose a picture” link, selecting the picture, and clicking the “Save” button.
You can also take a picture with your computer camera by selecting the “Take a Picture” option, clicking the “Take a Picture” button, taking the picture, and then clicking the “Save” button.
