A list of users or groups is displayed. Select the dropdown menu to the right of the user or group you want to change permissions. Choose the level of permissions you want that user or group to have.

Before you leave this screen, select Copy Link to add the document’s URL to your clipboard.
Select Done once complete.

Now that you have your document shared, and the URL in your clipboard, you can paste the link anywhere you might need. Some examples of this might be:
In an assignment submission.
In a discussion board post.
In a quiz essay submission.
The possibilities are endless!
