The Whiteboard Tool is a resource located within Discovery Education that allows you to write on a virtual whiteboard. This means you can write with a marker, draw and label shapes, create lines, insert pictures, and create and mark-up graphs.

Select tool - Select or drag objects.

Marker Tool - Free-hand draw with a marker. Can choose between thin pencil and thick marker.

Shape Tool - Construct shapes. Can create isosceles triangles, equilateral triangles, rectangles, squares, parallelograms, pentagons, and hexagons.

Line Tool - Construct straight objects. Can create a line, dashed line, and add arrows.

Polygon Tool - Construct polygons. Can click point to point to create polygonal shapes.

Insert Image Tool - Inserts an image from Discovery Education saved images.

Insert Text - Inserts text letters and numbers.

Add Background - Add number lines to your background.

Add Grid - You can add a square grid or polar grid.

Pan Canvas- Click and drag to move your workspace around.

Edit Tool - Cut, Copy, and Paste objects on your whiteboard.

Undo [1], Redo [2], and Reset [3] functions.

Snapshot Tool - Allows you to save an image of your work to your computer.

Enter a filename then click the Download button to save the file to your computer.

Zoom in [1], Default zoom [2], and Zoom out [3] functions.
