You will utilize Flash content for online simulations, games, and various media throughout certain courses. You may need to make a settings change inside of your internet browser in order for Flash content to load correctly. The instructions will be different, depending on which internet browser you use. This tutorial focuses on Google Chrome and Safari.

Instructions for Google Chrome

Follow the link from your assignment and follow the steps below:

Open

1. To the left of the web address, click Lock or Info .

   Open

   

2. To the right of "Flash," click the Arrows.

3. Choose Always allow on this site.

4. Reload the page.

Instructions for Safari

Follow the link from your assignment and follow the steps below:

You may be prompted to install Flash if it is not already installed for your Safari browser.

If you see the Missing Plug-In button then you are missing the Flash Plug-in for Safari. You can install Flash by clicking the Missing Plug-In button and following the steps on Adobe’s website for installation. 

Once the Flash Plug-In is installed, you will see a Click to use Flash button on the web page with Flash content. Click the Click to use Flash button to enable Flash on the web page.

Click the Use Every Time so Safari remembers your Flash settings for this site.
