Trinket

This guide will help you with accessing the Trinket for your PLTW Computer Science course. 

Log In to Trinket

1. Navigate to Trinket by clicking the Trinket link in your course navigation.

2. Click the Log In button in the top right of the screen.
   
   

   Open

   

3. Log in to your Launch provided Trinket account with the following information:

   1. Username: YourIDNumber@sps.org

   2. Password: LaunchPLTW!

   3. Click Log In

4. Once you are logged in you are able to access a number of options. Clicking your name in the top corner allows you to see all your trinkets. You can create a new Trinket by selecting the key dropdown in the top right. You can edit your most recent Trinkets by clicking on the preview. You can view all your Trinkets using the button at the bottom.
   After you are logged in, you will also be able to Remix the trinkets that are found in your course.
   
   

Remix a Trinket

Once you are logged into Trinket, you are able to remix the Trinkets that are embedded or linked in your Canvas course.

Remixing a Trinket will create a version in your account that you can edit as needed. You can always come back to the Trinket in your course and create a new remix if you get stuck.

Rename and Save your Trinket

Once you complete your work in Trinket, you may be asked to submit your work to Canvas using the shareable link.

1. Click the name of the Trinket to rename it and click the Save button to save it.
   
   

2. To share your Trinket with your teacher, click the Share button then Link.
   
   

3. Copy the shareable link to provide to your teacher.
