Use these directions to learn how to navigate to TCI assignments from your Canvas course.

Accessing TCI

Go into an assignment (on Canvas) that requires the use of TCI. Take note of the assignment name (TCI: Revolution in the Colonies - Lesson 7 in this example).
Choose TCI Login from the navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen
A new screen will appear with your TCI assignment list. Locate your assignment from the list. If your assignment is just a reading, you will need to click Read Text or Reading from the left side navigation.

Note - The lesson # in Canvas directly relates to the numbered lesson in TCI.

Select the correct lesson from the dropdown list and complete the section(s) of the TCI assignment listed in Canvas. Each section can be found in the section dropdown list.
If your assignment requires you to complete a Setting the Stage section, that section can be found under the unit header in your assignments list (before the list of lessons for that unit).

Submitting a Screenshot to Canvas

Your assignment in Canvas MAY have you submit a screenshot of your completed TCI assignment. Use these instructions for help on taking a screenshot. Be sure your screenshot includes any Answers for all of your question attempts, similar to the one below.
