Clever Instant Login

This guide will help you with troubleshooting common Clever Login errors. When you successfully login to Clever Instant Login you will see a screen similar to the one below and then have access to the necessary software.

Your screen should show your Launch @sps.org account as your email address.

You do not see your @sps.org account as your Clever Login.

If you do not see your @sps.org Launch account on the Clever Login screen, the best solution is to clear your browser cookies and cache. See our Clearing Cookies and Cache how-to guide for instructions.

 

You receive an error “Uh oh!” as pictured

If you receive the error pictured below, it means that your account is not recognized in Clever. This often happens if you are using a Google account different from your @sps.org Launch account.

The most common solution is to click “Go to Portal”.

Once you are in the portal, you can click your name in top right corner and click “Logout”.

After you logout, navigate back to Canvas and try to access your software again. This should walk you through the process of logging into Clever with your @sps.org account.

You receive an error saying a resource needs to be added to your account.

Softwares that authenticate via Clever, have a longer sync time than other softwares. If you receive a message that you need software added to your Clever account, please wait 24 hours after you have been added to your course for access to the software. If it has been longer than 24 hours, please contact the Launch Support Help Desk so we can verify your access.
