Adding Additional Contact Methods

To add an additional contact method in Canvas, click your portrait [1] on the left navigation bar then click Settings [2].

Under Ways to Contact on the right side of the page, click +Email Address [1] to add an additional email contact method. Click +Contact Method [2] to add a mobile device.

Note: the Star next to a contact indicates your default contact method.

IMPORTANT: You may add an additional e-mail for notifications but do not change your default e-mail from your Launch ID#@sps.org e-mail account.

To register a new email address for contacts, click the +Email Address link, enter a new email address then click the Register Email button. 

To register a new cell phone number for contacts, click the +Contact Method, enter your Cell Number, Carrier, and SMS Email, then click the Register SMS button.

You will receive a text with a confirmation code to register your cellular device with Canvas. Enter the code (case sensitive) received in the text then click the Confirm button.
