Setting up Notifications - Canvas

Editing your notifications allows you to receive notifications about your course through email or text messages. To change your notification settings in Canvas, click your portrait [1] on the left navigation bar then click Notifications [2] to open the Notification Settings page.

On the Notification Settings page, you can configure notifications for Course Activities, Discussions, Conversations, Scheduling, Groups, Conferences, and Alerts.

Individual notifications can be set for each listed Canvas feature to Notify immediately, send a Daily summary, send a Weekly Summary, or turn Notifications off.

If you would like to include grading scores in your Canvas notifications you can check this box.
