Join a Zoom Meeting Through your Browser

Find your meeting link under Announcements or under your to do list in your Canvas course.

Open

Click the meeting link under Join Zoom Meeting

Open

After clicking your teacher’s Zoom link, please click “Join from Your Browser” shown in the red box below.

Select Allow to let Zoom use your mic and camera for calls and meetings. 

You will see a message saying “Please wait, the meeting host will let you in soon”. You will join the meeting once your teacher allows you in as an attendee. 

Having trouble joining a meeting?

To join your Teacher’s Zoom meeting please make sure you are logged into your studentid@sps.org Google account. If you are asked to select an account, please select your studentid@sps.org Google account.

How to Change Your Background

Open your Zoom Conference.

Click on the drop down arrow beside Stop Video. 

Select Choose Virtual Background from the options.

Select from the available Virtual Background options.

Close the settings dialog box.

Follow the steps above to change your background back to none.
