Creating Canvas Groups - Canvas Teacher

To create a group in your Canvas course, start by clicking the People tab from the left navigation pane.

This will open the People page in Canvas. Click on the + Group Set to create a new group set.

Open

Use the following settings:

• Group Set Name: XXXXXXXX

• Self Sign-Up: Allow self sign-up

• Group Structure: Splits students into X groups, Limit groups to X members
