Canvas Submission Help: Picture

Once you have clicked Start Assignment, you should see the File Upload option. You will choose between Upload File and Use Webcam to upload a picture.

2. If you are uploading a file that is on your computer, click Upload File. Then, you will click Choose File. Select the file you want to upload.

3. You can also use your webcam to upload a picture. After you click Use Webcam, you will see a popup in the top left corner of your screen that asks you to allow your camera. Click Allow to use this feature.

4. Once you have allowed your webcam to be used on Canvas, your webcam preview will appear on screen. Hold up your piece of paper (or whatever you want to get a picture of) and click the “take photo” button.

5. Once you have taken your photo, you can preview the picture you will upload. You can either retake the photo by clicking “try again” or you can click “use this photo” to select the picture.

6. Once you have uploaded your file or taken your photo, be sure to click Submit Assignment to send the assignment to your teacher.
