This is a step-by-step guide on how to access the Mathletics resource. Follow these instructions to get logged in and begin work within Mathletics:

Logging In to Mathletics

Browse to an assignment that uses Mathletics.

Click on the Mathletics link in the Apply section of your assignment or click on the Mathletics link located in the course navigation on the left side of the screen.

A new tab will open up. Be sure that the page shows your name, then click Authorize.

Once you make sure that your name is in the top right corner of the screen, you're ready to work!

Completing Assignments in Mathletics

On each assignment that uses Mathletics, you will see the name of the assignment that is supposed to be completed. Take note of the name of this assignment before logging in to Mathletics.

Once you are logged in to Mathletics, browse to the assignment from the Topics -> Activities list in the middle of the page.

In this example, you would click on Unit 1 then Absolute Value as listed in the assignment on Canvas.

When you click on the activity, it will open up the questions for that assignment. Complete all of the questions within the activity by typing the answer in the box provided. The number of questions in the activity will be listed on the left side of the screen.

Once you have typed in your answer to the question, click the Submit button in the bottom right of the screen.

If you answered the question correctly, a green check mark will pop up next to your answer. If you did not answer the question correctly, a red x will pop up next to your answer.

Click the Next button in the bottom right of the activity to move on to the next question.

Use the i in the top right of the activity to view a review of the concept that you are working on in the activity.

Use the number pad on the right side of the activity to open up a calculator that can be used during the activity.

Use the X in the top right of the activity to exit at any time. Your progress will be saved.

Once you have finished all the questions in the activity, you will get a score for the activity. You will need to make sure that you screenshot the score and assignment name in order to receive credit for completing this assignment.

Mathletics Questions

My old work is showing in Mathletics. How do I get to my current assignments?

Check to make sure that you have your current course selected from your profile in the top right of the page. To do this, complete the following steps:

1. Click on the profile button in the top right

2. Click on the course listed in the profile pop-up window

3. Check to make sure that the course you are trying to work on is selected
