Giving Additional Quiz Attempts - Canvas Teacher

Please use these directions to give an individual student an additional attempt on a quiz assignment. 

Open the quiz assignment in your Canvas course then select Moderate This Quiz from the right menu.

Find the student who needs the additional quiz attempt from the list then click the Pencil icon to the right of their name.

Add an additional attempt into the Extra Attempts field then click the Save button.

Note: If the quiz has passed its accessibility date (the until date in assignment options) then you will need to click the Manually unlock the quiz for the next attempt checkbox.
