Working with accessibility tools in the new DesignPLUS Sidebar

The new DesignPLUS Sidebar provides six tools to help you optimize the accessibility of your Canvas content:

Image Alt Checker	Presence and quality of alternative text on images
Link Checker	Presence of descriptive link text and empty links

Table Checker	Presence of table captions and headers

Resolving Accessibility Issues

If indicators are present, select the Accessibility tab. The question mark indicates the presence of suggestions, while the exclamation indicates errors.

Select a tool that has an error or suggestion indicator. These indicators include an issue count for the tool.

The tool will provide information about each issue as well as steps to resolve each issue.
When the issue is resolved, it will be removed from the list of similar issues or all errors will be cleared for the flagged item.
Work through each tool to resolve detected issues until all error indicators have been cleared.

The accessibility checker tools scan the page automatically every 2 minutes. You can also initiate a page scan by opening the Accessibility tab.
